Magic penetration (Magic PEN) is an attribute that increases the effectiveness of magic damage by ignoring the magic defense of the target by a fixed value or a percentage. Magic penetration starts at 0 but can be obtained through emblems, items, or even hero abilities.
While magic penetration only affects the user's magic damage, Fixed-value magic penetration can ignore the target's magic defense below 0 (up to negative 60), causing the magic damage dealt to increase instead. Read more
