Reshala, also known as "Dealmaker" is a Scav Boss in Escape from Tarkov.
Notes
- Reshala and his 4 followers have different health values than PMCs and Scavs.
- Instead of the typical 4 single slot pockets, he has 4 double slot and 2 single slot pockets, bringing their total space to 10 slots.
Quests
- Reshala needs to be killed once each for the quests The Huntsman Path - Trophy and The Huntsman Path - Relentless.
- Reshala needs to be killed 15 times for the quest Overseas Trust - Part 1.
- Reshala's Golden TT Pistol needs to be found in raid for the quest The Huntsman Path - Trophy.
- 3 of Reshala's guards need to be killed for the quest The Huntsman Path - Justice.
Location
Reshala can be found on the Customs location:
- At the dorms area, either in one of the dorms or in the yard between them
- At the new gas station, either inside or around it. He sometimes wanders off over the grassy hills towards the checkpoint
- At the Scav base (ZB-013 extraction) building with the numerous mounted weapons
Behavior
He will normally try to stay at the back of the fight and hidden from the player's view. Additionally, he never wears armor. Be careful as a player scav, as if you are at lower scav karma levels Reshala or his guards may shoot you without provocation or will shoot you if you come to close to Reshala. His guards are sometimes known to give warnings to player scavs with low karma before becoming hostile.
When idle, Reshala and his guards can often be seen in a tight group or formation with Reshala in the centre and his guards around him in all directions. Although there are times when Reshala can stray from the group which makes him vulnerable to players attacks. Once a player has aggravated Reshala and his guards, Reshala and 1-2 guards will run from the group to cover whilst the rest of the guards will stay close to their initial position and fight, although this can vary based on his location and group status.
Followers
Following Reshala around are 4 heavily armed guards. These guards will typically carry modded AK's loaded with various ammo types including tracer ammunition, tier 2-6 Armor vests, and tier 3-5 helmets that sometimes have visors. Unlike regular scavs, these guards are highly aggressive and will frequently push towards the player instead of taking cover. The followers all have the last name Zavodskoy.
Strategy
To kill Reshala first, the best tactic is to find him before being seen. He can be easily identified by his brown sweater, unlike his followers who wear blue jackets with white striped cuffs. After being spotted he will run behind his guards, forcing you to kill them first. Before spending time looting Reshala or his guards it's recommended that you kill all five of them as they will usually stay within close proximity to each other and will kill you while looting. The guards are very aggressive compared to normal scavs and will rush the player. When facing these guards be aware of their positions so you do not get caught off guard when they run up to you. Since the guards are frequently in close proximity to each other, grenades can be highly effective at stunning or killing multiple of them at once. This is especially effective for when Reshala and his guards spawn at dorms. However, be aware that they also have grenades and will throw both flashbangs and fragmentation grenades at you, even when you're out of their line of sight and hidden behind cover.
