She was born into Tang Household in the land of Ba and Shu in the south of Cadia Riverlands. The Tang household had studied hidden weapons for generations, and Tang Wanwan's father taught her the way of these hidden weapons. After a successful cultivation, Tang Wanwan bid farewell to her father and set off on her travels.

Brought up in the Bashu Region, Wanwan, born in a prestigious family well known for crafting hidden weapons and mechanical weapons, is an expert at those stuff. Extremely agile when she moves, she is an important member of the Oriental Fighters.

Lore

In the south of the Cadia Riverlands lies a picturesque land where the civilization of Ba and Shu lived. "The Land of Abundance" was what the natives called this place. Tangmen, a faction that was known for their hidden weapons and skilled craft, originated from this land. However, Tangmen's new leader found out that many people often used Tangmen's crafts and hidden weapons to do evil, which was running against his will. Because of that, he decided to disband his faction and exiled himself to the forest, in a place of solitude with his daughter.

Since birth, Wanwan lived together with her father. The forest was her home and she spent a lot of time hunting and training there. On her fifth birthday, her father gave her a set of needles as a birthday gift that was made from a particular silver found at the bottom of the sea. That day, he also revealed the history of the Tangmen to her. This set of needles was a valuable and secret weapon created by Tangmen, which consisted of a total of 81 needles. Tangmen's skilled craft forged the needles into a lethal weapon, killing anyone who dared to challenge its power. Wanwan's father told her to use the weapon only if she was in danger. That's the first lesson her father taught her. One day, Wanwan and her father found Black Dragon at the bottom of a cliff. It is the first time that Wanwan saw a person who was injured so badly, and she couldn't bear to leave him alone. With the help of her father, she carried the Black Dragon to their home and took care of him. The Black Dragon was moved by this kind-hearted girl and opened his mind to her. He spent many hours with the young girl, telling her his story, his dream, and his ambition, teaching her how to become more powerful. However, the Black Dragon left Wanwan a few months later without leaving any word, which made Wanwan sad for a long time.

Ten years later, Wanwan grew up. Her skills with the darts became more pronounced, being able to split a drop of dew a hundred steps away into 2 with just a single dart. Her father told her not to show her formidable skills to others and to keep away from trouble. But Wanwan was too curious, and she wanted to travel the world. On the day Wanwan started her journey, her father gave her the most precious craft of Tangmen - the Crossbow of Tang, which could launch a rain of arrows to attack the enemy, and its power could scale along with the power of the handler.

Tiger Pace Buff Mobility | Attack Effects: 110% Enemy heroes hit by Wanwan's attacks will have their weakness[es] exposed and position revealed for 5 seconds. When hitting an enemy's weakness, Wanwan deals 67 (+3 × Hero Level) extra True Damage and increases their damage taken from her subsequent attacks by 10% for 5 seconds. Wanwan can dash a short distance after each arrow fired from her Basic Attack. The dash speed scales with her Attack Speed. Wanwan's Basic Attack deals (+110% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage. Skill terms True Damage If there is no way to reduce damage taken, you can try increasing Max HP. Attack Speed Current Attack Speed = Base Attack Speed + Extra Attack Speed × Attack Speed Ratio. The current total Attack Speed determines the number of attacks per second (capped at 3 attacks per second).

Skill 1

Swallow's Path AOE CC Wanwan throws a Fire Swallow in the target direction, triggering Tiger Pace while dealing 120–220 (+40% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage to enemies in its path. The Fire Swallow then turns into 3 rotating Swallow Daggers. After a short delay, these Swallow Daggers will fly back to Wanwan one after another, dealing 60–120 (+65% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage to enemies on their way back and slowing them by 30% for 1.5 seconds. Enemies hit by the Swallow Dagger twice are immobilized for 0.5 seconds. Skill terms Immobilize Low level Crowd Control: Prevents a target from moving or using Blink/Charge skills. Cannot interrupt skills. Movement Speed Movement Speed on the battlefield. Usually Calculated and Actual Movement Speed is equal. But when Movement Speed is below 230 or over 420 both Slowdown and Speedup Effect will decay. Calculated Movement Speed = Basic Movement Speed × (100% + All Speedup Effect% - All Slowdown Effect%).

	Needles in Flowers Remove CC AOE Wanwan removes all control effects on herself and triggers Tiger Pace. Meanwhile, she shoots Deadly Needles in all directions, dealing 150–250 (+60% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage to enemies hit. Skill terms Exceptional Status Debuff applied to the enemy. Physical Skill Deal Physical DMG to enemies. Triggers Spell Vamp.

Ultimate

Crossbow of Tang Burst | Attack Effects: 35% [Passive: Damage against creeps increases by 20%–40% each time Crossbow of Tang is upgraded.] [Active:] Wanwan leaps into the air and fires arrows at the target enemy hero for 2.5 seconds in rapid succession, dealing 60–90 (+35% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage per arrow. If the target is killed during this attack, Wanwan will switch to another enemy hero in her attack range, gain 30% Attack Speed, and extend the skill duration by 1 second (this effect can trigger up to 3 times). Wanwan is untargetable and invincible for the duration and can trigger Tiger Pace upon killing an enemy and at the end of the duration. Crossbow of Tang can only be cast on enemy heroes with all their weaknesses hit and Wanwan gains 100% Movement Speed during the duration. This damage is regarded as Basic Attack damage, and the firing rate scales with Wanwan's Attack Speed. Skill terms Physical Basic Attack Deal Physical Damage to enemies. Triggers ATK Effects and Lifesteal. Attack Effect Both Physical and Magic Basic Attacks can trigger Attack Effects Attack Effects include the "Devour" effect of the Demon Hunter Sword equipment, the 'Weakness Finder" Talent effect, etc.

Wanwan can cast her ultimate while jumping (see Patch Notes 1.6.66). Wanwan is invincible throughout the duration of Crossbow of Tang. This skill removes all existing debuffs on Wanwan, however, it remains unusable while under the control of basic or higher-level crowd control effects. She can freely move through joystick, but cannot pass through obstacles in spite of her flying animation. This skill's base damage cannot be critical. The Attack Speed bonus from Inspire is not limited to 8 Basic Attacks for this skill.

  • Wanwan "Darting Star" is somewhat referencing the accurate description of the White Tiger. It is sometimes called the White Tiger of the West (西方白虎; Xīfāng Báihǔ)
